Ginger Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 loaf of crusty bread, such as ciabatta, baguette, or sourdough

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine butter, ginger, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Slice the bread in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
  4. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the butter is melted and bubbly.
  5. Cut into slices and serve immediately.

Tips:

  • For a richer flavor, use a mixture of butter and Parmesan cheese.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
  • If you don't have an oven, you can toast the bread in a toaster or toaster oven until golden brown. Then, spread the garlic butter mixture over the toast and serve immediately.
